Social Skills for Teens
Are you preparing to go to college or to leave home and questioning if you are ready to be "on your own"?
Do you have difficulty talking to strangers, asking for help, or even feeling anxious about placing your coffee order?
Do you find it difficult to socialize in a post-pandemic world?
Do you have the desire to be comfortable in social situations, but struggle with the confidence to make changes?
If you answered yes to any of these questions and are between the ages of 14 and 18, then our Teen Social Skills Group is the right fit for you!

What To Expect
In each 90-minute group session, you will have the opportunity to explore and understand why you may struggle with social anxiety. Each session will include education about social anxiety, effective communication, and strategies to achieve the social skills goals you have created for yourself.
In addition to understanding and skills, the group setting provides a connection with other teens struggling with social anxiety. Our goal is to create a community of people that understand your experience and can support you. We strive to create a safe space to begin to practice the skills you learn in the group. By the end of the group, you can expect to have more confidence in social settings and have developed effective communication and coping skills.
