Meet our Interns
Heaven Davis
Masters Level Intern
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying so much on your own. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to do that anymore.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, and I also hold a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings, supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life’s most challenging seasons.
I work with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-worth struggles, life transitions, and relationship changes. I have a special passion for supporting single parents balancing the weight of responsibility, individuals adjusting to divorce or major life shifts, and older adults facing new transitions or changes in identity. I also work with teens and young adults who have experienced sexual trauma or PTSD, LGBTQ+ youth exploring identity, and individuals learning to accept and adapt to physical or developmental disabilities.
My background in Applied Behavior Analysis helps me guide clients in recognizing patterns in their thoughts and behaviors while building practical tools they can actually use in everyday life. But more importantly, I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative. You are the expert on your life and I’m here to walk alongside you.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my children and family, traveling, trying new restaurants, building Legos, and being outdoors, all the things that keep me grounded and connected.
If you’re looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to grow, heal, and move forward, I would be honored to work with you.
